Another Message From Your Host....

... and this is mostly for the people who subscribe to the Dreamtime blog though its feed, as a growing number of my audience do. I've been getting the occasional emails asking "how come I sometimes get a podcast and sometimes it's just text?" plus, the "How come you write about videos but I can't see them?"

As to the first question there are two Dreamtime feeds: one for the blog and one for the podcast.

This links to the feed for the Dreamtime blog.

And this links to the feed for the Dreamtime podcast only.

With the podcast feed, you get the audio-only podcasts as they're released, currently on a once every couple of weeks basis. With the blog feed, you get the whole megillah: everything I post on the blog, including the podcast. If you're subscribing using a podcast-capable Feed Reader, you can listen to the podcast through the blog feed. If you're subscribing to the feed through email, you may or may not be able to listen to the podcast without downloading it, or using the link to the mp3 file.

Same thing about the videos I post on the blog. If you're using a Flash-capable reader, you'll see the videos. If you get the feed by email, you probably aren't.

Hope that clears things up.

Having said all that, I hope you subscribe to both feeds, as one complements the other. And if you do read/listen to Dreamtime through a FeedReader, come by and visit us occasionally here, okay? We have lots of cool things on the blog that you're probably not seeing, including the regularly updated Theme Time Radio Hour News column and links to many TTRH-related sites, all of which are worth visiting.
